We are excited to Present to you the 2023 LoneStar Roundup. This will be an amazing event for transgender individuals, crossdressers, their loved ones and friends. The events of the Roundup will happen at various places in the DFW area and will cover a wide range of events and activities. There is something for everyone!

12:00 P.M.: Day at the Movies: Barbie, Matinee at Angelika Film Center & Café – Dallas

Let’s meetup and have a great time at the movies! We are watching the Barbie Movie. Get to the theater by 12:00 P.M. for a 12:30 P.M. Showing. Give yourself plenty of time to find a parking space in the garage under the theater and to navigate the ticket kiosk. There are several tickets that have been bought in advance in a block, see Rachel at Alexanders on Wednesday Night for more info. Afterwards we’ll go enjoy a coffee in the cafe or maybe even go to Starbucks! Be sure to wear your finest pink dress! Meet at the hospitality suite at 11:30 A.M. if you would like to carpool.
6:30: Cowgirl night in the hospitality suite!
Get your cowgirl boots, your wranglers or jean skirt and let’s have hootin’ good time! Extra points if you can do either fiddle part to “Devil Went Down to Georgia.” (wearing cowgirl clothes is totally optional and not required)

Come and see our safe GLBT District! The Cedar Springs and Oaklawn area has clubs, shops, places to eat and more. There’s something for everyone! Details and maps will be available in the Hospitality Suite.

The Nationwide phenomenon comes to DFW! The Open Air bar and grille has “gourmet burgers, yummy apps, soups, salads and entrees” as well as beer and wine as well as drag shows and bingo! Meet up in the hospitality suite to carpool NO LATER THAN 6:30 P.M. The reservation is for 7:00 P.M. and HM cannot seat people after the drag show begins.
Saturday August 19th:
6-9pm Sue Ellen’s Live entertainment featuring Chix Followed by Club Hopping

The epic band returns for the roundup! Come and listen to a great band at the “oldest lesbian bar in Texas!” Rock out to some great 70’s, 80’s and 90’s covers! Admission is $10, or free with your admission to the Roundup. Afterwards we will go Club Hopping!
12AM Pajama Party in Hospitality Suite
Come hang out with us in your finest sleepwear! Street legal to the door of the suite. Talk to Rachel or Trina about details.
Sunday August 20th:
12pm: Goodbye Pastries and Departure at hotel.

What if I am New and Have Never Been out?
If you’ve never been out, or perhaps never been fully feminine, make-up and all, I encourage you to come and find out what it is like in a safe and super discreet environment.
I know some of you fear being discovered, may think you look ugly when you do your own make-up, feel thoughts of sheer terror when you think of being feminine in front of strangers, and other fears… but you need to realize we all feel exactly the same way as girls – every one of us have those same fears! And the strangers you fear being feminine in front of, are girls just like yourself. So once you realize that, it should be easier for you to come and have fun with us.

For those of you needing help while here, call or come by the Hospitality Suite, and we will take care of any make-up, dressing, and other issues if we can. We want you to feel like family.
